A large gearbox manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Engineer in KZN.

Requirements

• Possess a mechanical / technical qualification and a proven sales track record.
• More than 5 years' experience in sales within South Africa.
• Strategic business development of sales opportunities across industries such as cement, sugar, oil and gas, power, coal, ports & harbours, steel and metals, general industry, and mining and minerals.
• Responsible for achieving budget and KPI targets.
• Manage and grow existing business through customer visits and networking, aligned with strategic growth plans for South Africa.
• Ensure the Sales / Bid Pipeline is of sufficient value and quality to meet Order Intake targets.
• Active pipeline management according to set rules.
• Maintain current and accurate CRM account details, ensuring dormant accounts are closed and duplicates merged.

Package & Remuneration

R - R - annually plus commission.
