Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure cost-effective inventory management of all goods.
2. Monitor depot coverage daily and coordinate with Planning.
3. Report stock outs to relevant teams.
4. Plan storage locations in liaison with the Warehouse Manager (ABC Analysis).
5. Create inventory documents for cycle counts and stock audits.
6. Conduct floor walks for inventory housekeeping.
7. Minimize write-offs and losses.
8. Maintain stock availability and rotation.
9. Provide high levels of customer service (internal and external).
10. Resolve customer complaints efficiently.
11. Manage stock movements and documentation per audit controls.
12. Maintain stock loss control procedures.
13. Ensure stacking heights are maintained.
14. Conduct routine risk and quality audits.
15. Perform quality control inspections and display guidelines.
16. Manage shelf-life tracking and communicate short-dated stock issues.
17. Apply FIFO principle in stock movements.
18. Adhere to stock age and product recall policies.
19. Isolate non-conforming stock in SAP.
20. Implement internal control measures (ICC, ISO, Operations Excellence).
21. Conduct stock counts and prepare for audits.
22. Process stock adjustments and perform stock takes in SAP.
23. Investigate variances and generate reports.
24. Manage stock write-offs, variances, and aging reports.
25. Ensure proper processing of goods issues and reconcile production bookings.
26. Achieve daily load plans and follow up on shipments.
27. Manage inter-depot movements and claims.
28. Report on product damages and conduct surveys.
29. Investigate shortages and overages, and charge accordingly.
30. Ensure correct posting of stock transactions.
31. Provide trend analysis and variance commentary.
32. Highlight risks related to losses from damage, theft, and write-offs.
33. Manage forklift drivers and shift performance.
34. Control operational costs and asset utilization.
35. Communicate company values and strategic goals to employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• NQF 6 qualification in Logistics or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment
• Basic knowledge of Warehouse/Production environment
• Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
