A leading company in the Security Industry is seeking a Recruiter to manage the recruitment process for middle to senior management positions. The role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and liaising with management. Ideal candidates will have a Matric certificate and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and knowledge of the Security Industry are essential.

Job description

Job Title: Recruiter

Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Deadline: May 25, 2025

Key Performance Areas:
  1. Sourcing candidates for employment
  2. Interviewing, screening, and vetting candidates
  3. Testing applicants on job knowledge
  4. Verifying employment documentation such as CVs, Psira Certificates, Training Certificates, ID documents, etc.
  5. Conducting reference checks, background checks, criminal checks, ITC checks, etc.
  6. Completing employment documentation
  7. Liaising with Operations Management on manpower requests
  8. Arranging shortlist of candidates for interviews with Operations Management, Senior Management, Operations Director, and Departmental Heads
  9. Maintaining a database of potential candidates
  10. Placing internal and external job advertisements
  11. Head hunting candidates
  12. Submitting monthly recruitment statistics reports to management
  13. Inducting Senior Management, Specialist functions, and Administrative staff
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Matric certificate
  2. At least 2 years of experience in recruiting for middle to senior management and specialist positions, preferably in the Security Industry
  3. Experience in target selection and interviewing skills
  4. Full knowledge and understanding of the Security Industry, including PSIRA registration and grading
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Willingness to work extended hours
  7. Own transport and willingness to travel within the Western Province area
  8. Experience dealing with recruitment agencies
  9. Human Resources experience is an advantage
  10. Experience in newspaper advertising and placing ads on Pnet and other websites
  11. Computer literacy
  12. Good references and no criminal record
  13. Valid unendorsed driver’s license
