Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Western Cape, Cape Town
Deadline: May 25, 2025
Key Performance Areas:
- Sourcing candidates for employment
- Interviewing, screening, and vetting candidates
- Testing applicants on job knowledge
- Verifying employment documentation such as CVs, Psira Certificates, Training Certificates, ID documents, etc.
- Conducting reference checks, background checks, criminal checks, ITC checks, etc.
- Completing employment documentation
- Liaising with Operations Management on manpower requests
- Arranging shortlist of candidates for interviews with Operations Management, Senior Management, Operations Director, and Departmental Heads
- Maintaining a database of potential candidates
- Placing internal and external job advertisements
- Head hunting candidates
- Submitting monthly recruitment statistics reports to management
- Inducting Senior Management, Specialist functions, and Administrative staff
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting for middle to senior management and specialist positions, preferably in the Security Industry
- Experience in target selection and interviewing skills
- Full knowledge and understanding of the Security Industry, including PSIRA registration and grading
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Own transport and willingness to travel within the Western Province area
- Experience dealing with recruitment agencies
- Human Resources experience is an advantage
- Experience in newspaper advertising and placing ads on Pnet and other websites
- Computer literacy
- Good references and no criminal record
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license
