Role Overview
The Licensed Optician helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs.
They deliver exceptional customer service and craft high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome customers and set expectations.
Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
Lead in optical knowledge and assist with complex product needs.
Take and record measurements; adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail.
Use technology accurately and efficiently, even under time pressure.
Explore root causes of issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Maintain store appearance and adhere to safety practices.
Adhere to company policies, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Continuously learn and improve in role performance.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
State Licensure
Optical dispensing experience
Knowledge of current merchandise and fashion trends
Basic math skills
Comfort with technology, POS systems, and tablets
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service and retail experience
Pay Range : $25.69 - $38.27
Benefits may include health care, retirement, paid time off, and employee discounts.
