Job Purpose :

Site managers are responsible for ensuring that the onsite element of a project is completed on time, to the right quality and SHE standards.

Responsibilities :
  1. Coordinating the installation and adherence to timelines and technical documentation
  2. Managing onsite efficiencies in accordance with budget and specifications
  3. Managing sub-contractors based on workmanship, adherence to AVT policies and OHS standards
  4. Ensuring communication is maintained and relayed to team members
  5. Ensuring documentation is upheld and completed during installations
  6. Working with the Operations Manager to identify service improvements
  7. Ensuring regular checks of working areas by technicians in line with procedures
  8. Managing client requests for change on site and escalating to solutions architect and account managers
  9. Ensuring quality of installation in neatness, timelines, and workmanship
  10. Ensuring the correct stock is at site
  11. Escalating any technical problems or difficulties to the solutions architect/engineer
  12. Managing the storeroom consumables
  13. Overseeing onsite administration and implementation of the OHS Act
  14. Maintaining vehicle logbook
