Earned Media - Account Manager (Corporate and Consumer Clients)Join to apply for the Earned Media - Account Manager (Corporate and Consumer Clients) role at Accenture in South AfricaRole OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our Johannesburg team, managing a portfolio of corporate and consumer clients across various sectors.

This client-facing position is ideal for a PR professional with 4–6 years' experience who is comfortable working with both corporate and lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities include managing earned media campaigns, media relations, supplier liaison, and content delivery across classical and digital platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount & Campaign Management : Oversee client plans and campaigns, serve as a primary contact for media and clients, ensure timely delivery of activities, assist in strategy development, prepare reports, and track campaign results.Media Relations & Content Development : Build media relationships, pitch stories, develop media angles, draft press releases and articles, and deliver content aligned with the PESO model.Supplier & Content Partner Management : Manage relationships with content creators and media partners, oversee deliverables, and handle administrative tasks like budgeting and contracts.Client & Team Collaboration : Prepare for client meetings, support strategic initiatives, assist with budgeting, and mentor team members.Minimum RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.4–6 years of experience in a PR agency or similar environment.Proven experience with both corporate and consumer brand accounts.Strong media relations across traditional, digital, and social media.Excellent writing, presentation, and client liaison skills.Experience managing content creators and third-party partners.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Understanding of integrated communication and the PESO model.Additional InformationSeniority Level : Entry levelEmployment Type : Full-timeJob Function : Project Management, Sales, and Business DevelopmentIndustries : Business Consulting and ServicesLocation : Sandton, Gauteng, South AfricaJoin a vibrant team working on diverse clients, with opportunities for growth and leadership in creative earned media campaigns.
