We put people before profit: work for a family of nurseries with heart

"LEYF has helped my career through ongoing training and support." - Caroline, Early Years Practitioner

We are the London Early Years Foundation, or LEYF Nurseries; a family of 40 nurseries. Our staff love working here because we focus on the child and their family to give them the best start in life.

LEYF is known for quality teaching staff—we provide strong in-house training and opportunities for promotion. Our nurseries are community-focused and foster a supportive team environment. When you join us, you become part of a family of nurseries with excellent support networks.

What’s in it for you?

"LEYF gave me the confidence and teaching skills to advance my career." - Victoria, Room Leader

  • Generous pension scheme (7% contribution from us, 1% from you)
  • 70% discount on childcare fees
  • Up to 35 days off per year, including bank holidays, days off between Christmas and New Year, and your birthday (pro-rated for part-time)

A bit about the role

"We are friends, we are like family. We support one another." - Elizabeth, Early Years Practitioner

You love helping children develop and learn. You are warm, positive, and eager to provide the best education to help children succeed in life.

All LEYF nurseries share a unique teaching model, but you will have the creative freedom to adapt your approach to suit how children learn best. Whether visiting the Science Museum, making friends at other LEYF nurseries, or baking with your nursery chef, your focus is always on the children.

You will need:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • An ability to safeguard and protect children
  • A positive, adaptable, and friendly attitude
