We put people before profit: work for a family of nurseries with heart

"LEYF has helped my career through ongoing training and support." - Caroline, Early Years Practitioner

We're the London Early Years Foundation, or LEYF Nurseries for short; a family of 40 nurseries. Our people love working for us because we focus on the child and their family and give them the best start in life.

LEYF is known for quality teachers - we provide strong in-house training and opportunities for promotion. Our nurseries feel independent and community-focused, and our teams support each other. You will join a family of nurseries with a great support network.

What's in it for you?

"LEYF gave me the confidence and teaching skills to advance in my career." - Victoria, Room Manager

  • Extensive training, promotion opportunities, and competitive salary
  • Generous pension scheme (7% contribution from us, 1% from you)
  • 70% discount on childcare fees
  • Up to 35 days off annually, including bank holidays, days between Christmas and New Year, and your birthday (pro-rated for part-time)
  • Sector-leading parental leave
  • Additional benefits including wellbeing app access, shopping discounts, annual conference, and team celebration funds

A bit about the role

"We are friends, we are like family. We support one another." - Elizabeth, Early Years Practitioner

We know you work in Early Years because you love helping children develop and learn. You are warm, positive, adaptable, and eager to give children the best education to succeed in life.

All LEYF nurseries share a unique teaching model, but you will have the freedom to be creative and tailor activities to how children learn best. Whether visiting the Science Museum, taking a bus to meet friends at another LEYF nursery, or baking with our chef, everything is focused on the children.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Ability to safeguard and protect children
  • Positive, adaptable, and friendly attitude
