Placements24 is seeking an energetic Early Years Practitioner to facilitate playgroup sessions at their well-regarded center in Klerksdorp. The role focuses on engaging, developmentally appropriate play that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Experience facilitating play-based learning activities for young children.
• Understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
• First Aid certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead interactive playgroup sessions for children, focusing on skill development through guided and free play.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel comfortable to explore and express themselves.
• Observe and document children's participation and progress, identifying individual needs and interests.
• Communicate positively with parents and caregivers, providing insights into their child's development and engagement.
• Ensure the playgroup area is clean, well-organized, and stocked with appropriate materials and equipment.
• Promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being among children.
