Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, an international primary school located in Bloemfontein , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher. This role is responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for children aged 3-5 years, following the established EYFS curriculum. You will be instrumental in fostering the holistic development of young learners, focusing on their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, possesses strong classroom management skills, and is adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students. This is an in-person position requiring a dedicated educator to inspire and guide our youngest students. You will be a key figure in shaping their foundational educational experiences, encouraging a love for learning and exploration within a vibrant school community. The position requires a commitment to excellence in early years pedagogy and practice.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education, PGCE) with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience teaching within an EYFS framework or equivalent early years program.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Early Years Teacher.
• Thorough understanding of child development and learning theories for young children.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa.
