Permanent – 24 hours per week

11-month contract (July off)

£14,423.82 per annum

Job Purpose

The role of the Developmental programme for 2 – 3 Year Olds Assistant incorporating Little Stars Programme will be to deliver quality early year’s services to support the delivery of the Sure Start programme within Lisburn Sure Start. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team ensuring that a welcoming, safe and child centred environment if offered to the children.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards)
  • One years experience working in the early year’s sector
  • 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
  • Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport.
  • 6 months experience of recording observations and record keeping

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working within a developmental programme for two-three year olds
