Job description

Provide support and contribute to surface water resource projects; storm water management, hydrology studies / modelling, river design and water intakes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Masters degree or PhD in Hydrology
  • MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Projects, Use and proficiency of hydrological modelling, climate analysis and water balance software

  • Demonstrated ability in water resources including hydrology, water balance, water supply feasibility and water reuse
Responsibilities
  • Develop water and salt balances for mining and industrial clients.
  • Give input on water components for EIA’s and mine waste management projects.
  • Provide hydrological inputs hydrological modelling studies
  • Conduct climate assessments and analysis
  • Conduct data analysis and assessments.
  • Develop high quality project and design technical reports for clients.
  • Prepare Macros on Excel for data interpretation, reporting and management
