Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Knowledge of developmental assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental screenings and assessments for infants and young children.
• Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) based on assessment results.
• Provide direct therapy and intervention services to children to address developmental delays.
• Educate and train families on strategies to support their child's development at home.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, educators, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor child progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and reports.
• Advocate for the needs of children and families within the service system.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about early intervention services.
• Stay current with best practices and research in early intervention and child development.
