Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Early Childhood Development Facilitator to join our Upington learning center. The role focuses on creating a safe, stimulating environment where young children learn through play and structured activities, supporting holistic development.

You will plan age-appropriate programs, monitor progress, and communicate with parents, contributing to a positive start to their educational journey in the Northern Cape.

Qualifications

• Must have a National Diploma in Early Childhood Development or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an early childhood education setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for young children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any special needs.
