Business Analyst SAP SD (Permanent, Midrand)

Job Purpose

To collaborate with the Business to identify, design, and specify application solutions that meet business requirements and deliver benefits; and to facilitate the implementation of these solutions using recognized project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. SAP End-User Support
  2. Assist users with SAP Sales & Distribution issues, resolve logged calls within SLA, and liaise with technical experts or external consultants.
  3. Conduct end-user training and create training materials in collaboration with the learning team and super users.
  4. Perform user assessments and analyze knowledge gaps to identify additional training needs.
  1. System Opportunity Identification
  2. Support the identification of IT application solutions, quantify potential savings, and prepare business case documentation.
  1. Application Development & Implementation
  2. Serve as liaison for system enhancements, review technical specifications, manage small projects, and ensure full documentation and sign-off.
  3. Assist in project planning, hardware/software requirements, and testing. Provide post-implementation support and report on KPIs.
  1. SAP User Profile Maintenance
  2. Assist with user profile creation, maintenance, and audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  1. System Auditing & Reporting
  2. Conduct system compliance audits, report non-compliance, and recommend controls. Develop and run reports to support business needs.
  1. Technical Expertise & Teamwork
  2. Provide ongoing advice, develop SAP S&D module expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and support team development.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Information Technology or BCom.
  • 1-2 years' experience in relevant business or IT environment.
  • Proven success in managing performance and improvement projects.
  • Valid Code EB driver’s license.
