Key Purpose

To provide support to the Reputation Management function and contribute to the delivery of professional and efficient influencer relations.

To ensure that media and other audiences have a clear and continued understanding of the company's strategy, performance, products, and key initiatives.

Areas of Responsibility
  1. Provide strategic and operational assistance to the Head of Reputation Management and deliver a professional media relations service for Discovery across multiple business areas.
  2. Ensure clear communication of the company's strategy, performance, products, and initiatives to media and audiences.
  3. Support the Reputation Management function and contribute to influencer relations across traditional and social media.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and stakeholders.
  5. Assist with events such as media conferences and sponsorship activities.
  6. Create and support campaigns for brand promotion, defining goals and exploring opportunities.
  7. Provide reputation support for projects, managing PR and social media elements.
  8. Create content, including ideas, writing, and curation.
  9. Produce reports and coordinate external communications like media releases and speeches.
  10. Respond promptly to queries from individuals, journalists, and organizations.
  11. Monitor industry developments and provide feedback.
  12. Develop innovative approaches to reputation management and influencer marketing.

Education and Experience

  • 5-8 years' experience in media relations, PR, journalism, or agency roles.
  • High computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms like Google, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.
