We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior / Intermediate Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will test software applications, identify defects, and ensure the highest quality standards before release.

This role is ideal for candidates with a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

1. Perform manual testing on web applications to identify defects and usability issues.
2. Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
3. Report, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
4. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
5. Conduct regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory testing.
6. Document test results, defects, and testing progress in a structured and clear manner.
7. Help prepare test data and environment setup.
8. Participate in test reviews and provide feedback to enhance software quality.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation (preferred).
• Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
