Job Title: Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes managing requirements, defining the product vision, and working with technical, sales, marketing, and support teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

We are a highly specialized distributor of top international Broadband, Wireless, Networking, and VoIP brands, with a strong reputation and proven track record in the ICT industry, trusted by leading ISPs and network operators across Southern Africa.

Responsibilities

1. Define and internalize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
2. Gather, manage, and prioritize market and customer requirements, emphasizing unique selling points (USPs).
3. Act as the customer advocate, understanding user and buyer needs.
4. Collaborate with technical, sales, marketing, and support teams to meet business and customer satisfaction goals.
5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand customer purchasing reasons and market dynamics.
6. Develop market needs documentation, including problem articulation and solution prioritization.
7. Manage beta and pilot programs, ensuring product meets customer expectations.
8. Lead within the company, developing business cases for new and existing products.
9. Plan and supervise product implementations and rollouts.
10. Define and prioritize target customer segments and markets.
11. Manage product pricing, marketing strategy, and sales forecasts.
12. Oversee supplier relationships, contracts, and negotiations.
13. Present quarterly business reviews to management and suppliers.
14. Supervise purchase orders and internal/external training.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
2. Completed Matric and a course in Project Management (highly beneficial).
3. Own reliable transport with a valid driver’s license.
4. South African ID.
5. At least 4 years of technical experience combined with customer service/care experience.
6. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation.
7. Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.

Package & Remuneration

Position based in Centurion with a monthly package of R45,000 to R50,000.
