Job description

We are recruiting for a Head of Estate Management to provide strategic direction and oversight of the operational aspects of our client's property portfolio.

Duties
  1. Facilities and OHS
  2. Estate Management Strategy
  3. Contracts Management
  4. Business Units Facilities Oversight
  5. Budget and Reporting
  6. Risk Management and Compliance
  7. Protection Services
  8. Stakeholder Management
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Property, Project Management, or other relevant Built Environment professions.
  • A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Registration with a professional body is an advantage.
  • Experience:
  • At least 10 years in Facilities/Estate Management, Property Management, Development, or related roles.
  • Minimum of 8 years managing a team and building strategic facilities management capabilities.
  • Knowledge:
  • Contract management, procurement processes, and contractual agreements such as service level agreements.
  • Environmental, waste, and fleet management.
  • Supply chain and logistics management.
  • Financial, human resources, and administrative management.
  • Statutory legislation related to waste, environment, landscape, transport, hygiene, and occupational health and safety.
  • Landscaping, environmental and waste management knowledge.
  • Industrial hygiene, building, and cleaning services.
  • Commercial property leasing, letting, and office space planning.
  • Planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Building installations and supervision processes.
