This role will report to the Head of Finance in the JET division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Partner in analysing management reports and financial performance of the division against its specific targets.
- Analyse standard monthly management reports and provide interpretation and commentary.
- Support with year-end procedures and reports.
- Manage the budget, projection, and 3-year plan process.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports.
- Preparation of revamps and new store viabilities.
- Preparation of month-end presentation.
- Review and preparation of financial reconciliation.
- Capturing of monthly journals.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis.
- Investigation and analysis of month-end variance to budget/forecast.
- Daily turnover split.
- Update CEO and CFO financial packs.
- Prepare executive trade commentary.
Stakeholder Relationships:
- Support the Finance Business Partner.
- Act as the interface between Finance and the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive strong interactions and engagement across the finance operating model.
- Ensure engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders within TFG.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIMA or CA equivalent is preferred.
- 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a trading environment.
- Good understanding of the TFG business and investor strategy.
- Good understanding of frameworks and requirements for annual reporting.
- Very good knowledge of financial accounting and finance processes.
Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable).
- Reconciliation and analysis.
- SAP experience.
- Accounting and reporting.
- Strong business communication skills, with the ability to work well with senior executives.
- Ability to draft commentary, analyze information to establish key messages, and present information visually and in writing.
