Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership - Manage resources by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help team members meet project and operational commitments. galvanising the existing team into a high-functioning development team.
- Strategic Direction - Drive the evolution of the OneX strategy in line with TFG board objectives, including extending the existing platform and technology stack and integrating into Omni point of sale.
- Planning - Review business requirements and specifications with the product manager, provide feedback, and liaise with all business stakeholders. Ensure delivery commitments are met in terms of timing and functionality.
- Technical Development - Serve as the technical resource on complex projects, guiding team members and providing documentation for implementation. Maintain development standards through continuous technical input and code reviews.
- Mentorship - Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer between senior and junior developers.
- Vendor Management - Manage third-party vendor relationships related to technology roadmap, project deliverables, security, and operational stability.
- Financial Management - Oversee the full budget lifecycle, including quarterly estimation, monthly actual processing, and variance analysis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing deadlines.
- Proven experience in software development (.Net, C#) and technical leadership, with successful delivery of complex projects.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with hands-on experience in backend and frontend development.
