Property Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Lead to drive marketing efforts for both a large city development project and African Hills Lodge and Spa. This role demands a dynamic self-starter who can independently create, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies across both projects while leading teams and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of effective, innovative marketing strategies for the city development and Lodge, aimed at attracting investors, driving property sales, and increasing guest bookings.
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of marketing projects from conception to execution, ensuring all initiatives align with the overall business goals.
- Investor Engagement: Design and implement marketing campaigns that appeal to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
- Property Sales Marketing: Develop and lead targeted marketing campaigns to support property sales efforts.
- Creative Leadership: Drive the development of high-quality marketing packs and materials that are visually engaging and tailored to target audiences.
- Social Media Oversight: Analyze and manage all social media teams to ensure brand alignment and effective engagement strategies.
- Self-Starter & Team Leadership: Be a proactive leader who can initiate and manage marketing projects independently, guiding teams effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (essential).
- Honours or Master’s degree in Marketing/Business (advantageous).
- Certifications (optional but beneficial): Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Project management certifications (e.g., PMP or Agile/Scrum).
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Experience within real estate, property development, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in brand management, strategic planning, and campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of property marketing channels, including digital, print, and on-site activations.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external agencies/vendors.
