Role: Project Manager

About the role: Working in partnership with our team, the Project Manager leads creative and digital projects from concept to completion, providing the necessary direction and control.

The Project Manager is responsible for investigating and translating client briefs into feasible, creative solutions using experience and knowledge of delivering cross-platform projects and employing smart operational processes and workflow management.

You will seek to understand our clients' needs and inspire the creative team to deliver excellent work efficiently and with outstanding service.

Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, the Project Manager is the key communicator regarding the status, risks, and challenges of all project deliverables, including budget and resources.

Reporting to the EMEA Business Director, the Project Manager works alongside the creative team.

This is a great opportunity to create impactful communications across South Africa and develop design best practices for various brands.

What you will be doing:
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure seamless project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships as part of the business pipeline.
  • Manage and document the triage process for new projects.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, with regular communication on milestones, targets, goals, and deadlines.
  • Organize project meetings, communicate, and drive actions.
  • Participate in daily/weekly WIP meetings with the on-site team.
  • Act as the lead contact for clients during projects.
  • Continuously assess and improve working methods and processes.
  • Review project resources and analyze their adequacy.
  • Ensure all parties meet key Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee project budgets, notify stakeholders of cost implications, and manage spending.
  • Work with the team to win new business.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • 3-4 years' experience managing campaigns in a creative, production, or social agency.
  • Strong project management skills and experience.
  • Experience creating and updating project plans and status reports.
  • Knowledge of delivering cross-platform projects (digital display, website, video).
  • Ability to manage workflows, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with solutions-focused approach.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to leverage past experiences.
  • Ability to ask questions and manage project risks.
  • Experience across multiple industry sectors is a plus.
