Job description

Description: Investec Sandton is looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to use their unique skillset and experience to successfully deliver quality across several applications.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining automation frameworks for front-end and back-end testing.
2. Working in an Agile, DevOps culture and CI/CD environment.
3. Collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to build test automation frameworks and tooling for continuous delivery.
4. Promoting test automation and continuous delivery practices across the bank.
5. Identifying issues with products and delivering solutions through automation.
6. Working with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to identify and prevent high-impact bugs.

Key requirements:

• Degree or diploma with 4+ years of testing experience (Automated and Manual).
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Gitlab.
• Supporting CI/CD pipeline maintenance and enhancement.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to train teams on test frameworks.
• Ability to work with SQL for test data setup and validation.
• Knowledge of REST API and WEB GUI testing, including writing automated API tests.
