Job description

Job Function:

To formulate a tactical transport operations strategy and associated practice delivery plan, influencing operational implementation to contribute to client satisfaction, reduce risk, and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement corporate governance and compliance policies to manage risk liabilities.
2. Analyze, interpret, and produce detailed reports explaining trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies measured against planned activities.
3. Develop and ensure implementation of people capacity plans aligned with performance objectives.
4. Develop initiatives to enhance customer service excellence.
5. Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition, and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.
6. Create an engaging, enabling, and productive work climate aligned with the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organizational values.
7. Develop a plan for practice changes, specifying the priorities of delivery plans and resources needed over 1 to 2 years.
8. Contribute to setting budgets, minimize expenditure, and manage costs and assets effectively.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to foster a culture of customer service excellence.

Qualifications Required:

• Degree (NQF Level 7)
• Minimum certification
