Develop a marketing strategy and plans, oversee their implementation and execution, evaluate results, lead market research efforts, and coordinate initiatives across channels to support long-term business growth and promote Carrol Boyes and its product range.
Duties
- Develop and ensure the implementation of the marketing strategy.
- Set quarterly and annual KPIs for the marketing team, including sales, conversion rates, customer growth (existing and new), and statistics related to communications, PR, advertising, paid marketing, and social media.
- Create marketing campaigns supporting specific objectives across channels and segments, aligning with strategic plans and budgets.
- Market through various channels, segment databases, and work with large data sets.
- Increase customer database growth, focusing on existing and new customers across all channels.
- Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Develop business cases for campaigns and recommend marketing tactics.
- Evaluate marketing programs' impact on lead flow, lifetime value, and retention.
- Propose and manage market research projects to generate consumer insights.
- Partner with creative teams, sales channels, and external agencies/vendors.
- Lead marketing program execution, fostering stakeholder collaboration and internal process leverage.
- Monitor and optimize conversion rates and advertising spend efficiency.
Drive brand awareness and revenue across all channels (PR, email, paid media, social media).
- Identify and evaluate new digital technologies; use analytics tools to optimize campaigns.
- Create campaigns to maintain high customer engagement levels.
- Manage projects and multiple teams to meet customer needs consistently.
- Oversee PR, media, and communication plans, led by the PR & Communications Manager.
Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI.
- Provide insights to optimize tactics and improve continuously.
- Produce accurate monthly reports on marketing metrics.
- Report weekly on KPIs during sales meetings.
- Manage customer data integrity and analytics.
- Present quarterly results and insights to the Executive Committee.
Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
- Reconcile budgets and adjust plans to stay within budget.
- Deliver PIRs to measure ROI and campaign efficacy.
Mentor and coach staff to identify training needs and improve skills.
- Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Implement personal development plans.
- Ensure departmental infrastructure supports operational efficiency.
- Guide and support the execution of marketing initiatives.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years in building complex marketing programs and reporting results.
- Experience in digital marketing and CRM platforms.
- At least 3 years managing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Marketing or postgraduate qualification in Marketing.
