Executive Personal Assistant - ExManTrending

Job Description

Brief description: The main purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and assistance to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

  1. Manage and maintain the managers' diaries, including making logistical arrangements for appointments and travel commitments in liaison with relevant personnel.
  2. Receive, screen, and respond to incoming telephone calls, deal with queries, and route calls to appropriate people.
  3. Prepare and edit correspondence, communication, presentations, and other documents; conduct basic research and analysis as needed.
  4. Ensure all correspondence is registered and filed according to SARB's File Plan.
  5. Coordinate project-based and other information.
  6. Review and improve operating practices in own area.
  7. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Create and maintain contact databases and filing systems.
  9. Perform daily duties ethically, maintaining confidentiality.
  10. Serve on relevant project teams based on experience and skills.
  11. Execute additional tasks as instructed by managers.

Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate
  • Secretarial Diploma or relevant post-Matric qualification
  • 6–8 years of experience supporting executives in a corporate environment
