Job Description

The role involves managing the end-to-end value propositioning of HOC claims by adhering to standing procedures and audit requirements. It requires providing exceptional customer service while maintaining an acceptable loss ratio and achieving budgeted average claim costs.

Responsibilities include effectively and promptly handling all building claims, actioning received correspondence, revising estimates, processing payments and recoveries, and keeping customers proactively informed. Maintaining an effective diary system to ensure timely attention to matters is essential, enabling effective customer service delivery. The role involves liaising and interacting with customers and stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
  • Type of Qualification: Matric & NQF 5
  • Field of Study: Insurance Qualification (Advantageous)
Experience Required

Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance industry experience, with broad, solid technical understanding of Home-Owners Content policy wordings and claims. A technical background in HOC claims is important. At least 2 years of call centre/telephone experience is required.
