Request for Information Department

The Global Business Operations (GBO) Request for Information (RFI) Department plays a pivotal role in providing information on IQVIA’s capabilities and services across the globe, focusing on three main tenets: providing accurate, reproducible information that offers a competitive advantage for IQVIA.

The RFI Department is expert in collating data from across the entire IQVIA Human Data Sciences infrastructure to answer stakeholder questions in various formats.

They are skilled in translating stakeholder questions into customer-facing responses, ranging from simple questionnaires and eSourcing tool responses to white papers and preferred provider responses, showcasing IQVIA's global capabilities.

Purpose

Manage comprehensive, timely, and accurate responses to stakeholders' requests for information to support global sales teams and other internal customers.

Responsibilities

1. Research, organize, and write corporate capabilities and experience documents for proposals, sales initiatives, and customer questionnaires.
2. Lead teams of subject matter experts from multiple disciplines, coordinating their inputs to prepare formal replies to global outsourcing and preferred provider RFIs.
3. Perform quality control edits on all documents and work products.
4. Identify, test, and implement process enhancements for RFI information storage and retrieval systems.
5. Serve as the principal responder to internal and external requests for information.
6. Contribute to improvement initiatives for RFI information storage and retrieval systems.
7. Maintain current knowledge in relevant company management and research databases.
8. Conduct company, industry, and competitor research as needed.
9. Participate in developing and maintaining department information sources, templates, and related materials.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Extensive knowledge of CRO, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
2. Subject Matter Expertise in core IQVIA business lines to lead focused responses within the area of expertise.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
4. Excellent writing and editing skills.
5. Strong communication and organizational skills.
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and stakeholders.

Minimum Education and Experience

Degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, Finance, IT, or related fields.

At least 5 years of experience in Proposal and/or Contract Management, Marketing, Finance, IT, Business Development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

At least an additional 5 years of operational work experience or Subject Matter Expertise in core IQVIA business lines or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate speech perception.

Extensive keyboard use involving repetitive finger motions.
