Job description

IT Desktop Support Technician required in Edenvale.

We’re looking for an IT Desktop Support specialist who’s passionate about solving problems, supporting users, and keeping our systems running smoothly.

Salary: R25 000 – R 30 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• IT-related qualification.
• A+, N+, MCSE certification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pairing or replacing damaged hardware
• Microsoft Office 365
• Desktop employee profiles on PCs and network
• Server support and maintenance (both online and offline)
• Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
• Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
• Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
• Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
• Will report directly to the IT Manager
• Conducting daily backup operations
• Managing technical documentation
• Setting up and maintaining printers
