Our client is currently looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join their team.

Requirements:

1. 6+ years of extensive experience.
2. Education / Degrees: Computer science degree or comparable data engineering certification in one of the cloud platforms.
3. Extensive experience in cloud-based data engineering, with expertise in Azure (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, etc.).
4. Strong expertise in cloud-agnostic data tools such as Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
5. Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and Python for developing complex data pipelines, transformations, and optimizations.
6. Hands-on experience in big data processing, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline orchestration.
7. Solid understanding of data modelling, warehouse design, and data lakehouse architecture.
8. Experience in setting up, managing, and processing with Azure DevOps (or similar DevOps tools).
9. Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure-as-code for automated deployments.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex data concepts clearly.
11. Ability to work independently on high-impact projects while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
12. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for data processing workloads.
13. Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance regulations related to big data.
14. Exposure to machine learning and AI pipelines within data engineering workflows.
15. Experience working with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) alongside Azure.
