Job summary

Un groupe industriel de premier plan recherche un chef de projet pour garantir la sécurité des machines et la conformité aux normes OSHA. Le candidat idéal aura une solide expérience en gestion de projet, une connaissance technique des opérations de machines, et devra communiquer efficacement avec les clients. Ce rôle est essentiel pour soutenir l'engagement de l'entreprise envers l'excellence et la réduction des risques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle PM en environnement industriel.
• Excellente connaissance technique des opérations de machines et exigences électriques.
• Capacité à préparer et communiquer des informations financières.

Responsibilities

• Assurer la conformité aux protocoles de sécurité des machines selon les normes OSHA.
• Surveiller et contrôler tous les KPI du projet tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.
• Intégrer les meilleures pratiques de sécurité et exigences réglementaires.

Requirements :

• Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferable)
• PMP or similar Project Management certification
• GCC or registered as a PrEng / PrTech
• Working knowledge of Early Equipment Management processes through TPM / World Class Manufacturing
• Functional skills
• Excellent level of English both written and spoken
• Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Ability to prepare and communicate financial information for business justification

Experience required

• Experience working in an industrial environment in PM function role for minimum of 3 years
• Excellent technical knowledge of machine operations, electrical requirements, and design thinking
• Extensive experience in managing machine safety protocols in line with OSHA and South African standards
• Proven track record overseeing projects such as Machine Safety and LOTOTO projects ensuring site compliance and operational safety
• Excellent communication skills to understand customer requirements and translate them into solutions through capital expenditure
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, detailed site audits, and inspections to mitigate hazards effectively
• Able to monitor and control all project KPIs throughout the project lifecycle to prevent deviations from pre-approved thresholds

This role will be pivotal in safeguarding personnel and equipment by ensuring rigorous compliance with machine safety, OSHA regulations, and company standards.

By integrating safety best practices and regulatory requirements, the manager will support the company's commitment to excellence and risk mitigation.

This role may also require some national and occasional international travel.
