About the Role

As Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing

credit assessments, credit risk management , and facilitating sustainable financial solutions for Commercial Banking and Transformation (CBT) clients. You will play a key role in evaluating credit applications, coordinating credit committee processes, and supporting regional credit operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end credit processes for CBT clients

Perform credit risk assessments, financial analysis, and industry evaluations

Guide and support Credit Analysts and Administrators

Participate in and coordinate Regional and Provincial Credit Committee meetings

Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures

Liaise with internal stakeholders to close performance gaps

Visit clients and branches to assess business sustainability and structure viable credit solutions

Provide input on credit policy development and improvement

Ideal Candidate

Degree / Diploma

in Finance, Commerce, or Business (e.g. BCom / BTech)

Preferred : BSc Agriculture with credit-related experience in agri-finance

5–8 years’ experience

in commercial credit, business banking, or structured finance

Strong credit and financial analysis skills with experience in loan restructuring

Sound knowledge of risk management principles and compliance systems

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills

Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required
