Tax Administrator, Germiston South, Johannesburg

Our client based in Germiston South is looking for a Tax Administrator to join their team!

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Prepare tax returns to SARS (South African Revenue Service) on time.
  2. Handle registrations of all tax types.
  3. Manage public officer applications.
  4. Prepare objections and disputes and monitor outcomes.
  5. Monitor SARS correspondence and related matters.
  6. Communicate with internal departments, clients, and SARS to gather necessary information.
  7. Stay updated with tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements :

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or in the process of completing a similar qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of South African tax legislation and regulations.
  • Experience with tax computations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Previous experience in tax administration or tax compliance is required.
