Job Description
- Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including room types, rates, facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa, health club, and other properties.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and attitude, taking personal responsibility for service quality.
- Address guest satisfaction issues promptly and follow up accordingly.
- Be proactive and suggest alternatives to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to resolve guest complaints and issues.
- Attend hotel events, shift briefings, and training to improve skills.
- Greet guests warmly, upsell rooms, and optimize revenue.
- Manage daily arrivals and departures, verify guest information, and allocate rooms.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel and its surroundings, and arrange special services as requested.
- Stay updated on hotel developments, update communication logs, and coordinate with other departments for guest services.
- Handle late reservations, monitor room availability, and promote hotel promotions.
- Utilize yield management to maximize room revenue and promote food and beverage options.
- Follow credit procedures, establish guest credit, and monitor accounts for adherence to limits.
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of front office procedures.
