Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop railway construction projects, including developing civil construction project specifications and designs based on customer requirements and design standards.
  2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to validate design feasibility and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  3. Utilize CAD, Civil 3D, and BIM software to refine designs, create 3D models, and animations.
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed designs and construction techniques.
  5. Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  6. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
  7. Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion adhering to quality standards.
  8. Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities, presenting recommendations to senior management.
  9. Conduct project team meetings, providing guidance and support to multidisciplinary team members.
  10. Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders regarding project progress and adjustments.
Skills & Experience
  • Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
  • At least ten years of experience, with five years post-registration in planning, managing, and delivering civil infrastructure projects including bulk earthworks, roads, and drainage networks.
  • Experience in Construction Management within multidisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
  • BSc / BEng Degree or BTech in Civil Engineering.
