Key Responsibilities :
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the tooling industry.
- Service existing customer base.
- Administrate stock holding and paperwork in line with processes.
- Full stock control including customer stock maintenance and stock holding to ensure product availability, maintaining an orderly stockroom, categorizing inventory effectively, and following stock control processes.
- Adapt quickly to fluctuations in demand within the carbide tooling industry and adjust inventory strategies accordingly.
- Cold calling to expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Identify and prospect potential customers, cultivating strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Grow sales volume within the existing customer base.
- Maintain up-to-date records of daily sales activities and relevant paperwork.
- Devise and refine detailed plans to maximize ROI.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments.
- Attend monthly/quarterly performance reviews to assess progress on KPIs and provide sales forecasts and reports.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on new opportunities.
- Always portray a professional image of the company.
Essential Requirements :
- Experience working with manufacturing machines, including CNC, milling, lathes, etc.
- Strong understanding of carbide tooling products and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven sales track record selling carbide tooling products.
