Job Description: Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing team, developing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring the effective execution of marketing activities to enhance brand presence and market share.
- Manage and direct the marketing team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Delegate tasks to marketing supervisors and oversee daily activities.
- Evaluate financial aspects such as budgets, expenditures, and research related to product development.
- Compile and submit marketing budgets to senior management for approval.
- Develop budgets for branding and maintain cost controls.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research, analyze consumer and market insights, and report findings.
- Manage content sharing among departments and external partners.
- Oversee external marketing partners like agencies and digital marketing firms.
- Develop and implement brand management plans, ensuring brand consistency and standards.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for specific brands/products.
- Manage digital marketing presence across platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
- Provide marketing support and insights to sales teams.
- Oversee marketing activities for specific brands and communicate with brand managers.
- Prepare reports, specifications, and creative briefs.
Requirements
- BSc in Analytics or related field.
- Experience as a Marketing Manager, Events Manager, or Project Manager with 3-4 years of management experience.
- Strong understanding of current marketing and PR trends.
- Experience with ATL and BTL marketing strategies.
- Proven strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in sponsorship and public relations is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work in a team and take ownership of tasks.
- Willingness to travel nationwide.
