As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect serverless, web-based applications and infrastructure. Your role will involve securing systems and networks, performing vulnerability assessments, and deploying advanced security tools. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into development processes and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assessing and analyzing clients' existing cybersecurity controls, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  2. Defining and implementing security controls and developing target operating models to meet business needs.
  3. Designing and executing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, including expenditure planning for security improvements.
  4. Developing and maintaining security policies, protocols, and procedures aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  5. Creating operational implementation plans and overseeing technology transformation projects.
  6. Leading high-level discussions with clients regarding security posture, especially within the Microsoft stack, and broader security landscapes.
  7. Collaborating with the consulting team on cybersecurity strategies and initiatives.
  8. Providing guidance and technical leadership to the team.

Technologies and skills we expect:

  • Experience with Azure Security Center and Microsoft Security, including dashboard review, identity, data, and system security controls.
  • Expertise in Cybersecurity and Network Security, focusing on infrastructure and application protection.
  • Experience reviewing and optimizing Wavenet MSSP implementations and use cases.
  • Familiarity with security consoles and tools like Mimecast and Meraki.
  • Ability to develop cybersecurity strategies based on assessments and findings.

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate).
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM and data encryption.
  • Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices to streamline secure development and deployment processes.
