A regional strategic sales role, as part of the regional management team, is key in driving new market opportunities and supporting the retention and growth of aftermarket business within the region.
Located within FLS's Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves Business Line, this position serves the Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle East and South Asia (SSAMESA) region. You will join a team of PCV experts dedicated to promoting, establishing, and expanding our product footprint across these markets.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for large greenfield and brownfield expansion projects.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with regional sales teams to promote pump products and services to all relevant customers, including EPCs and EPCMs.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the region to drive business growth.
Lead the team and collaborate with product managers, proposals, and other FLS team members to develop and present competitive proposals.
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Provide consultation on system design, support project start-ups, and ensure comprehensive aftermarket support.
Facilitate effective handovers to operational teams for seamless project execution.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
Education and Experience:
A 3-year full-time engineering qualification, BSC/similar or B-Eng in Engineering.
At least 12 years’ experience within the mining & mineral processing industry, preferably focused on products Pumps, Cyclones and Valves.
At least 8 years’ experience in sales into large-scale greenfield and brownfield expansion projects, on behalf of a multinational technology supplier.
At least 5 years’ experience in servicing on a regional leadership team.
Reporting Relationship:
Position reports to the Head of Pumps, Cyclones and Valves in the region of SSAMESA.
