Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Director, we are seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team in South Africa. You will be responsible for creating new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing customer relationships, and delivering customer solutions across the MEA region.
As a Sales & Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying strategic partner prospects and supporting the establishment of these relationships
- Generating new potential clients through networking and relationship-building
- Offering appropriate products/services to meet client needs
- Planning and executing strategies to create new business opportunities and acquire new customers
- Preparing key deal presentations and leading negotiations to close deals successfully
- Gaining customer and market insights to inform broader go-to-market strategies
- Translating market feedback and data into guidance for product strategies
- Collaborating across the EMEA team to maximize sales opportunities
- Traveling to customer sites within the region as needed

Experience required includes:
- Experience with security products and/or telecom devices/services
- Business development experience in a tech company
- Hands-on experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Experience with multiple sales techniques
- Experience working with MNOs, MVNOs, or telecom regulators
- Experience in or with financial service providers, particularly in digital lending, microfinance, or mobile money
- Track record in promoting or selling technology solutions in emerging markets
Knowledge required includes:
- Understanding of mobile device ecosystems, service providers, and mobile app protection
- Understanding of security solutions
Qualifications:
- Degree, MBA, or relevant experience
Additional information:
- Location: Must be based in a Francophone African country (e.g., Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, DRC) to support French-speaking markets
- Approximately 30% regional travel across MEA for client meetings, partnerships, and ecosystem development
