Minimum Requirements:
- Self-study mindset and strong independent learning ability are essential.
- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Production, or equivalent, or strong practical experience.
- ±1 year experience with a degree, ±5 years with a diploma, or ±10 years proven seed production experience.
- Knowledge of vegetable seed production is highly beneficial.
- Experience with livestock (especially goats and sheep) is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in farm machinery operation and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, record keeping, communication).
- Willingness to learn and apply agricultural technologies (e.g., drones, smart water systems).
- Practical understanding of irrigation systems, pest management, and soil management.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of independent decision-making.
- Problem-solver with a strong practical and analytical approach.
- Passionate about continuous learning and innovation.
- Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a remote, challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
Onion Seed Production Management
- Plan, plant, manage, and harvest onion seed crops (annual cycle: May-December).
- Implement crop rotation, irrigation scheduling, and pest and disease control.
- Coordinate pollination activities, including managing relationships with beekeepers.
- Oversee post-harvest processes: drying, threshing, and seed quality control.
- Maintain detailed operational and production records.
Farm Operations and Sustainability
- Monitor and manage soil health, crop rotations, and sustainable practices.
- Implement and maintain irrigation systems efficiently.
- Drive innovation through technology (drones for inspection, future smart water management).
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of farm infrastructure and equipment.
Staff Management
- Lead, supervise, and train farm workers.
- Foster a positive, efficient, and safety-oriented work environment.
- Assist with the basic care of goats and sheep.
- Manage grazing schedules to align with cropping plans.
