Bulk Sales Engineer

Department and Location

The above vacancy exists at our Bulk & Supply Chain department, Kempton Park, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Grow bulk sales by acquiring profitable new business covering the full range of bulk products and applications in the Reef Region, in accordance with preset targets and KPIs.
  2. Maintain and service the company's current bulk regional customer base.
  3. Expand company sales through prospecting for new clients.
  4. Maintain customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and promote retention.
  5. Enhance Air Products' market presence through various marketing initiatives.
  6. Achieve and surpass annual sales targets.
  7. Handle administration and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
  8. Continuously acquire industry knowledge for personal and professional development.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  1. Matric with Maths and Science.
  2. BEng / BSc Engineering qualification.
  3. Minimum of 3-5 years of technical selling experience.
  4. Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the gas, chemical, or related industry.
  5. Proficient in MS Office suite and computer literate.
  6. Proven ability to negotiate at high levels and build strong customer relationships.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and report writing skills.
  9. Valid, unendorsed Code 8 (B) driver's license and own reliable transport.
