Chief Safety Officer

A well-known Mining company, situated in Gauteng, is seeking the expertise of a Chief Safety Officer to join their team.

The role will apply and monitor the application of Safety control systems and procedures according to organisational and legislative requirements, and manages the execution of activities, that the Safety Function is accountable for as depicted by the MHSA Regulation 2.17 and 2.19.

Essential Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma Safety Management (NQF Level 6).
• Leadership Development Programme (LDP) OR PDSA Safety Officer Development programme OR
• Engineering Trade certificate OR Blasting certificate.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management.
