Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full bookkeeping functions up to Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement
  • Manage all office administration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Capture and process data to clear accounting backlogs
  • Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with SARS and other relevant authorities
  • Handle full accounting, tax, and payroll functions using Sage
  • Order stock and pay creditors
  • Provide financial advice to directors
  • Ensure sound accounting practices are maintained
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounting (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax submissions
  • Ability to work independently and manage a small office environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Reside within close proximity to River Gate
  • Diploma or Degree is advantageous
  • Own transport
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
