Job Description
- The Banqueting Coordinator is responsible for generating quotations, acquiring new business, maintaining current clients, and confirming potential bookings.
- The incumbent will assist the operational team with setup, check the quality of DCP food offerings, ensure venues are clean and meet standards, monitor guest satisfaction, handle guest complaints, assist with site inspections, and ensure the smooth running of daily conferences and events upon booking confirmation.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
- 1–2 years of experience as a Banqueting Coordinator
- Experience with hotel management software and POS systems
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills with staff and guests
