1. Purpose of the job
As a commercially savvy, insights-driven RMG analyst, you are responsible for generating transformative insights, identifying new opportunities, and proposing initiatives to unlock value. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive RMG plans that drive sustainable, profitable growth for HEINEKEN.
2. Key responsibilities
- Support RMG strategy and priority initiatives, aligning with OpCo commercial strategy, KPIs, and action plans. Utilize advanced analytics to identify value growth opportunities, prepare commercial scenarios, and support research.
- Propose clear execution guidelines across RMG levers in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, ensuring effective implementation. Prepare monthly RMG councils with RMG OpCo Managers and stakeholders.
- Identify RMG opportunities within the region by working with Finance, Category, Sales, and Marketing teams. Track RMG performance and apply global methodologies to identify pricing, PPA, promotional, mix, and T&T opportunities across channels.
- Assess regional brand, customer, and channel performance regularly. Monitor competitor strategies and identify areas for HEINEKEN to capitalize on, developing implementation proposals.
- Provide regional and functional RMG support, including upskilling, business case support, and training programs. Deliver insights through dashboards and assist Sales Teams in articulating sales arguments based on RMG insights.
- Track KPIs and measures of success such as RMG Bridge, SNOW funnel, and price versus non-price value contribution. Monitor business KPIs including penetration, volume, market share, revenue, profit, and RMG-specific KPIs like VSE, promotion ROI, and discounts. Conduct B-CHAMP analyses covering price ladders, corridors, promotion calendars, and mix drivers.
3. Job Requirements
3.1. Education and competencies
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
3.2. Experience
- 8-10 years proven experience in RMG, promo analysis, or data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and deriving insights.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing, and revenue management best practices.
- Proficiency with revenue management tools.
- Strong business and financial acumen aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on revenue growth and operational margin improvement.
