What Are We Looking For?

• An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in teaching Life Skills.
• BMUS qualification.
• Responsibility for the music program, including experience with instruments such as Violin/Strings, Recorder, Brass, Piano, Voice, and Choir.
• Current SACE registration.
• Experience with CAPS curriculum.
• A clear criminal record.

The Responsibilities Are

• Plan, control, record, and report on assessments.
• Attend meetings, forums, and workshops for the grades/phase as required.
• Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
• Manage school equipment and stock for the class.
• Collaborate with teachers in the grades/phase to ensure effective operation.
• Manage and promote teaching, learning, and activities (sports and culture).
• Maintain discipline within the grades/phase.
• Assist with sports and administrative duties as needed.
• Show personal commitment to education and contribute to the school's values and ethos.
