Main Purpose of the Role

Manage client relationships in the existing allocated client base and serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships. Maintain and grow existing customer base for the allocated region and meet monthly and annual retention targets.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2-3 years Key Account Management / sales experience in prospecting for new business and achieving retention targets
  • Experience in Tender Management
  • Experience in selling cross silo solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages (Word, Excel)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain, protect and grow the existing client base in the distribution market for the allocated region and meet retention targets.
  • Prospect the current client base for additional distribution opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Monthly billing and financial reporting shared with stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales information and report weekly to the regional sales manager.
  • Maintain and update client data regularly in MSD.
  • Report on industry and competitor analysis.
  • Assist in tender/proposal production and presentation.
  • Create value for customers through innovative solutions.
  • Ensure monthly and cumulative targets are met.
  • Communicate confirmed additional business to stakeholders.
  • Manage clients' debtor days within company requirements.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication and collaborations.
  • Update and maintain client files as per procedures.
  • Report as needed to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy.
  • Meet call and meeting KPIs.
  • Perform general administrative duties daily.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills / Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
