Sales / Account Manager

Our client, an insights-led BTL marketing agency specializing in creating world-class shopping experiences for renowned brands, offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, customer-centric, target-driven Sales / Account Manager. This role focuses on delivering customer delight and expanding an existing client portfolio.

The successful candidate will report to a Senior Account Manager and will be responsible for fostering relationships and growing accounts. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales, achieving targets, and building lasting relationships.

Key qualities include understanding complex B2B sales, adaptability to obstacles, customer focus, and deadline orientation.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Excellence in account management and customer service

Requirements
  • Bm / Business Science degree or related tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in account management and business development, managing blue-chip accounts
  • Experience working within team environments and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of market research, including landscape, clients, and competitors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Office / G Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Understanding of BTL agency operations and in-store / POS / display selling (advantageous)
  • Strong organizational skills, administrative competence, and process adherence
  • Solid understanding of commerce principles
